Changing times for fire prevention

NFPA 1730 Standard 2016 Edition is finally in place. It relates to the Organization and Deployment of Fire Prevention Inspection and Code Enforcement, Plan Review, Investigation, and Public Education Operations. Several regions across the Country, including British Columbia are looking at this new Standard to better implement Loss Prevention and public Education plans. Fire Underwriters Survey (FUS), an Opta Information Intelligence service, with over 130 years’ experience in fire insurance grading, grants 20% of its credit points on this aspect.
